RYU Apparel Summer Campaign

Sweat. Heat. Sand Dunes. Those were the keywords given to me when I was tasked with the project of conceptualizing and designing the 8-week 2022 Summer Campaign for RYU Apparel. Using our brand identity, I wanted to create material that captured the hot desert theme.

The deliverables I was tasked to create are the following: Email Newsletters, Social Ads, Programmatic Ads, Social Posts, Social Reels, Website Headers and Copywriting for the content. (All copy in the content was written by me!)

Email Newsletters
For emails, I needed to spread our campaign through 8 weeks. Our general cadence is 1 to 2 emails per week. For this campaign I decided to go with 4 different topics (Summer Shorts, Wind Shells, Activewear and Summer Lifestyle) at 1 email per week. My strategy was to alternate between an email more focused on the overall theme of summer with a glimpse of product and then follow it with an email more focused on said product the following week.

Ads
For ads, I continued with the theme we had going and played around with typography. Some are more simple while others are more graphically complicated depending on where the ads will be displayed.

For social, I was tasked to curate the images that will be posted on our Instagram. I was also given video footage from our Sand Dune photoshoot and was asked to edit the content into reels to post.
